Software EngineerRCS has immediate openings in our Atlanta office for Software Engineers to design, develop, and test application software using C++ for real-time transaction processing applications. The desired candidate must be independent, self-motivated, have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with customers. The successful candidate must also possess solid technical skills and a detailed understanding of client-server architectures using Microsoft platforms and development tools. Other job responsibilities include: - interface with customers and other vendors in the analysis and design of integrated solutions.- Provide product support, problem analysis and resolution - Light travel required depending upon project needs - Some Visual Basic Job Skills Profile Required Skills: C++, Visual C++, Client/Server Systems Experience, MS/BS Degree in a related fieldDesired Skills: Object-Oriented Design / Object-Oriented Programming, Microsoft Visual Studio, COM/DCOM experience Soft Skills: Excellent Communications, Strong Technical Writing Skills, Customer Interface Skills, Windows/Windows NT Experience, Unix Experience a plus, real-time systems experience a plus.
